Student Travel Grants
To encourage student participation, the Organizing Committee has secured a good number of travel grants to provide financial assistance to students who plan to attend the workshop. Student attendees from around the world (except Korea) are encouraged to apply.
Travel grant awards are meant to cover “most” of the cost of attending and participating in APSys 2012, subject to the following limits depending on the country of origin as follows:
- Korea – not eligible
- China and Japan – up to USD 500.
- Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong – up to USD 1,000.
- Regions further than Singapore, Taiwan & HK – up to USD 2,000.
The exact number of awards to be awarded will depend on the availability of funds and the countries of origin of the applicants.
The first authors of the accepted papers who will be presenting a paper at the workshop are not eligible for the travel grant since their participation costs are expected to be covered by their home institution. Non-presenting authors are eligible to apply.
Authors of accepted posters are strongly encouraged to apply.
